It just struck me the other day that I am only one degree away from the current (alleged) President of the Republic of the Philippines.
I will not elaborate on the details but this personal acquaintance of mine regularly meets up with the First Couple.
No it has nothing to do with monkey business. It is more personal than that.
I guess I need to shut up now. 
Anyways, going back to the title, being that “close” to a head of state would mean lesser degree of separation from other government leaders.
And what does it mean? Well, basically nothing.
Just the bragging rights to say, “Hey I’m this close to George Bush!”
As if that is something to be proud of these days. 
Six degrees of separation– is the theory that everyone in this planet can be linked just by six social ties.
