@kimberly: Lots of lovin’! Hahaha! You’re right, he is indeed old for a hamster…hopefully Bubuwit lives for a few more months, as they generally have a lifespan of only 2-3 yrs. A tip I can give for a long and healthy hamster life is never overfeed the animal. Calorie-restriction seems to prolong their lifespan, as it was also shown in lab rodents.
