It strikes me that listing down the kind of food one ate for the day is quiet a popular thing among many bloggers here. In fact, one regular feature of the blog of our very own Glamour Princess is her daily food intake. Last week, she posted that her food listing has sort of become embarassing that she’s actually considering of not doing it anymore.
I understand her late realization of the meaninglessness of it all. What’s the point of posting one’s daily food intake, if I may ask? And why would people be interested in reading what I’m putting in my mouth?
Anyway, now that Metrobloggen’s Princess does not want to do it anymore, I guess I’ll just take off where she left.
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, have fun reading what I had today:
09.00 Frukost. Last night’s left over Kebab pizza. Tap water.
11.00 Morning snacks. Cheez ballz (the CHEEZY nacho snack) and one liter Sprite.
13.00 Lunch. What lunch? Ok, maybe ostkorv med bröd från Pressbyrån and half a liter Coke (special price, 30 SEK).
15.00 Afternoon snacks. A bag of Giant Gott och Blandat. Cup of coffee with 3 socker bitar.
19.00 Dinner. Family-size Kebab pizza. Only 3/4’s of it, ok? 1/4 is saved for breakfast tomorrow, of course! 1.5 liter Fanta.
22.00 Late night snacks. Popcorn and two bottles of Staropramen.
Dagens Motion: Bending over to tie and untie the laces of my shoes.
Alright, I’m just kidding! I promise I won’t do this kind of listing anymore!
Quote: “Dagens Motion: Bending over to tie and untie the laces of my shoes. Alright, I’m just kidding!” Unquote. So you mean you were wearing sandals? R.
@R: hehehe…you smart guy! i was actually barefooted the whole day. 😛
The funniest part of it, is that she earn big money on that blogg, but looks like we swedish people love to read about food. Anybody remembers about “kicki danielson och falukorven”? 😀
@Nicole: Yeah, I think there are two things that can easily lure people into reading one’s blog: Food and Sex. What about the falukorven incident? I was probably not here in Sweden yet when that happened…
Oh, and I just started to worry about your health. Phew though…
@Mim: Oh, that was so kind of you! But don’t you worry I eat rather healthy food. I actually don’t drink läsk at all.
Hm, you know, one more thought struck me: in the name of consistency, in order to complete the circle, yin and yang and all that, I mean – wouldn’t it be fair if a person who reports on their daily food intake also delivered a detailed report on their daily visits to the john? I mean – what goes up must come down, and what goes in must come out. Right or not? R.
@R: Hahaha…that would be a cool and unique blog filler that would certainly get a huge following. In fact, I once stumbled on a site where people actually post pictures of how their shit look like after taking a dump. Ok, don’t ask me how I ended up in that site…you know how it is,,,sometimes curiosity takes the better of you.Anyway, if, and that’s a big IF, people would decide to complete that yin-yang eating-shitting circle, I would guess that it would be a bit hard (no pun there) to make connections which “food intake posting” corresponds to which “dump posting”. don’t you agree?
OMG… somehow I managed not to see this entry until now… you crack me up! 😀
